Which to choose, and when
- If a confirmed price matters: we verified Vidu's price; Kling AI is currently "Manually recorded price", so recheck its amounts below on the official site before ordering.
- To try one month on monthly billing: Kling AI is cheaper, Standard at $8.8/mo; the cheapest on Vidu is Standard at $10/mo.
- If you will use it for a full year: the entry plan billed annually is $79.2 on Kling AI and $96 on Vidu. Annual plans are usually paid up front, so they only pay off if you use the whole year.
- If you want to know what the credits buy before paying: Kling AI publishes per-second model rates, worked out on its tool page; for Vidu we have not found official rates that allow this.
- Both have a China entry point we confirmed, so that does not separate them. China and international plans do not map directly.
There is no "better overall" verdict. Each point above fits one situation; choose by whichever matters most in yours.

Plan allowances, credit validity and whether commercial use is allowed are all unconfirmed so far.
Vidu
Subscription credits are issued monthly and valid for 30 days. The developer API is billed separately and not included in the subscription.
Credits are not a shared currency: one Kling AI credit and one Vidu credit buy different things, so the counts cannot be compared directly.
