Which to choose, and when

• If a confirmed price matters: we verified Runway's price; Kling AI is currently "Manually recorded price", so recheck its amounts below on the official site before ordering.
• To try one month on monthly billing: Kling AI is cheaper, Standard at $8.80/mo; the cheapest on Runway is Standard at $15/mo.
• If you will use it for a full year: the entry plan billed annually is $79.20 on Kling AI and $144 on Runway. Annual plans are usually paid up front, so they only pay off if you use the whole year.
• If you want Kling 3.0: both offer it. We only have an exact official rate for it on Kling AI, so only there can you work out a month's seconds before paying.
• If you plan to subscribe inside the iPhone app: we have no Kling AI in-app prices to compare with its website; Runway costs the same in the app as on its website. Compared at US prices, which exclude tax on both sides.
• If you need a China entry point: we confirmed Kling AI has one (Chinese-language entry); Runway's China channel is unconfirmed, which is not the same as absent. An entry point does not mean the same plans or prices.
