Runway vs Vidu

Which to choose, and when

• To try one month on monthly billing: Vidu is cheaper, Standard at $10/mo; the cheapest on Runway is Standard at $15/mo.
• If you want to know what the credits buy before paying: Runway publishes per-second model rates, worked out on its tool page; for Vidu we have not found official rates that allow this.
• If you plan to subscribe inside the iPhone app: Runway costs the same in the app as on its website; we have no Vidu in-app prices to compare with its website. Compared at US prices, which exclude tax on both sides.
• If you need a China entry point: we confirmed Vidu has one (China website); Runway's China channel is unconfirmed, which is not the same as absent. An entry point does not mean the same plans or prices.

There is no "better overall" verdict. Each point above fits one situation; choose by whichever matters most in yours.
